Ask students to look at an M M and have a discussion about. what they think the coating is made from Let students know. that the candy coating is mostly sugar with some coloring Ask. students if they think the coating will dissolve in water. Give each student an Activity Sheet, Students will record their observations and answer questions. about the activity on the activity sheet, 2 Have students place one M M in room temperature water.
